I've
got to say I really like Alessandro Nivola's character
Pollux Troy, the guy did a great job! I felt so sorry
when he died! He wasn't all that bad...really. But why
did his brother get all of the women? That I *didn't*
understand. I just wish that it was easier to see more
of Alessandro's work (English DVD/video stores SUCK!)-
fingers crossed for the future though!

as everyone who has written in the past few days, heard
about the site on Kilborns show. Love that show and have
to be honest when I say I never even heard of the guy
till I saw JP3. Now I can place him in other movies
because of that one. So all of you who say it was a bad
move for him to be in that movie...at least now he might
get some more roles. You should be happy for that cause
JP3 will be one of those must sees of the summer
movies...although it is kinda BLAH at least it does get

remember forceing myself to watch Face/Off several times
to decide whether or not I actually enjoyed it. I
couldn't decide because I loved John Woo's Hong Kong
stuff and I don't think any of these over-produced
Americanized version will do the trick. Reguardless, the
one thing that I did remember was Pollux Troy. There was
defienitely something unique about that character that I
could never put my finger on. Something about the cool
yet nerdy complex and his passive somber approach to
life. It's very odd that there's a site dedicated to
this character, but then again there is an insane amount
of Star Wars universe sites and branch offs. |
